General Terms and Conditions

Information for consumers concluding distance contracts as well as customer information for contracts in electronic business transactions

§ 1 Scope of application

For business relations between us and the customer, the following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the order shall apply to orders placed via the internet shop.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of our products on our website is only an invitation to the customer to conclude a contract. By submitting the order via the internet shop, the costumer makes a binding offer according to § 145 BGB (German Civil Code). The customer shall receive an order confirmation by email.

The contract shall be valid as soon as we accept the customer’s offer within 2 working days by sending a written confirmation. In this respect, the date shall be relevant on which the customer receives the order confirmation.

A working day shall mean any day that is not a Sunday or a German official holiday.

§ 3 Delivery, shipping costs, transfer of risk

Delivery shall be affected according to the indicated shipping costs of each product. Given that the customer is a consumer, we shall bear the shipping risks regardless of the shipping method. In case that the customer is an entrepreneur, all risks and dangers of the shipment shall be transferred to the customer once the goods have been handed over to the shipping company. 

§ 4 Retention of title

The delivered goods shall remain in our possession until full payment has been received.

§ 5 Payments

Only indicated payment methods shall be accepted in course of an ordering process.

§ 6 Warranty

The statutory warranty rights shall apply.

a) We are not subject to any special codes of conduct not mentioned in this document.

b) You can identify any input errors entered during the ordering process before confirming the order. You can correct the incorrect information at any time by using the “delete” and “change” functions before sending the order.

c) Please refer to the product descriptions on our internet shop to find out the characteristics of the offered products as well as the validity period of time-limited offers.

d) The language available for the conclusion of the contract shall be German and English.

e) You can communicate any complaints and warranty claims to the address shown in section “legal disclosure”.

f) We shall not save the text of the contract. It is therefore unavailable to customers after the conclusion of the contract.

g) For detailed information regarding payment, delivery or performance please refer to the offer itself.

§ 8 Information on the dispute resolution procedure at a consumer conciliation body

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure at a consumer conciliation body.

§ 9 Miscellaneous

The contractual relationship between us and the customer as well as the respective terms and conditions shall be subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If the customer is also the consumer, any existing statutory provisions and rights applied for protection of consumers in accordance with the laws of the state or country where the consumer has his habitual residence and which may not be derogated from by agreement, shall remain unaffected by this agreement. The application of the UN sales convention is excluded.
